The EPL came right down to the wire this season with the very last game deciding the champions between United and Chelsea.
But it was united who prevailed, Goals from Cristiano Ronaldo and Ryan Giggs gave United a 2-0 win over Wigan and ensured they retained the title. While Chelsea drew 1-1 to Bolton which kept them in second spot.
Sir Alex Ferguson and Ryan Giggs both got to lift the Premier League trophy for the tenth time and it was Giggs who sealed a 2-0 win and the 2007/08 title.
For Avram Grant's team An early blow for the Blues came in the 11th minute after a dislocated elbow brought down Chelsea's captain John Terry.
It was all over for the Blues when Matty Taylor scored a late goal for Bolton which meant a 1-1 draw against Chelsea and thereby ended Chelsea's title hopes for another season.
Down the other end of the table Fulham escaped relegation after a 1-0 win over Portsmouth. Birmingham, Reading and Derby will face relegation this season.
