GAME OF THE WEEK
Chelsea vs. Arsenal
Bobby: Chelsea’s loss last week against Man City created quite a stir, meaning that it won’t be easy breeze this season for the Stamford Bridge boys. Arsenal’s coming off a shock loss against West Bromwich Albion, and they need to straighten some things out before they can continue to their winning ways. Florent Malouda on a hot streak is a dangerous Florent Malouda, and when Didier Drogba is coming off a loss, you know he will rebound in a big way. Arsenal will have to play lights out to win, which won’t happen IMO. Chelsea takes this 3-1.
Clay: I was thrown off a bit in last week’s Chelsea loss, but it still seemed like they had the better side for much of the match despite falling to Man City. I have to think they’ll rebound in front of the home fans at Stamford Bridge, especially considering the somewhat schizophrenic start to the season for the Gunners, who will also be playing without Cesc Fabregas.
Blake: I’m on the same side as the other guys, and think that Chelsea will probably win this one rather convincingly. We all know that the rivalry factor usually keeps this one close, but I just think Chelsea will be out to prove something in this one, and Arsenal is coming off of a bad loss last week to West Brom. I’ll even go as far as to say that Chelsea will win by at least two goals.
Well there are our picks for the week. Who are you picking in this week’s matches?
